Inspired by the desire to co-create, Manuela Menzi Studio offers bespoke services for the design of one-of-a-kind collages. The collage designs are then used to create personalised wrapping paper and other accessories that add a touch of originality and thoughtfulness to a gift presentation or Brand packaging.
Blending Customisation with Original Art
As mass market brands start incorporating AI-generated content into their Branding, human-generated art becomes rare and, therefore, more desirable. People crave originality, personalisation, and a humane, almost imperfect, touch to the items they purchase or receive as gifts. Luxury Brands, such as Hermès, have already incorporated works from real artists into their 2026 campaigns. Original artwork made by humans is what distinguishes high-end from mass-market products.
Customisation has always been a mark of luxury. Think of monogrammed bathrobes, custom-made jewellery, and branded wax seals. Creating personalised wrapping for special events and Brand packaging is a creative way to add an artistic, customised touch of luxury. At Manuela Menzi Studio, original and one-of-a-kind artwork is carefully designed and incorporated into personalised wrapping and other accessories.
Personalised Wrapping for eera communications
One of the studio’s first collaborations was with eera communications, an agency based in Zurich, Switzerland. Featuring soft neutrals, layered natural textures, and subtle green tones, the custom-made wrapping paper design captures a sense of calm, clarity, and tactile elegance.
As part of “eera im Päcklirausch”, the personalised wrapping was presented during a festive moment at eera’s Zurich studio, where guests were invited to enjoy a glass of prosecco while their gifts were wrapped.
Personalised Wrapping for Maison Héliora
Manuela Menzi Studio has also designed the personalised wrapping of Maison Héliora, a French jewellery house rooted in symbolism, storytelling, and craftsmanship. The customisation project started with a moodboard — fragments of antiquity, architectural details, sacred geometry, fig leaves, hand-drawn petals, museum sketches, and textures shaped by time. The final design is a layered homage to the past, to craftsmanship, and to the thoughtful act of giving.
Custom-made Plates for Restaurant Sternen
The studio’s most recent customisation project was in collaboration with Restaurant Sternen, the gastronomical secret of the Swiss village of Walchwil. Leased by the Bernard family, the restaurant offers classic local dishes with a modern, creative flair.
In 2025, Manuela Menzi designed the custom-made plates that framed the Sternen’s gastronomical artworks at Christmas. Made from upcycled French porcelain with gold details, the plates feature a beige-brown collage of various food motifs, such as mushrooms and bread rolls.
