Who we are

This privacy policy explains how Manuela Menzi Studio ("we", "us") handles your personal data when you visit www.manuelamenzi.com, buy from our shop, sign up for our newsletter, enter a giveaway or contact us. What data we collect

We collect the following data:

Order and payment details such as the products you buy, delivery address and payment method. We do not store full card details; these are handled by our payment provider.
Technical data such as your IP address, browser, device type and the pages you visit on our website.
Newsletter data such as whether you opened an email and which links you clicked.
Anything else you choose to share with us, for example in an email or message.

Why we use your data

We use your data to:

Process and deliver your orders and handle payments
Answer your questions and support requests
Send you our newsletter, if you signed up
Run giveaways and contact the winners
Understand how our website is used and improve it

Newsletter and giveaways

When you sign up for our newsletter or enter a giveaway, we collect your first name and email address. Your signup only becomes active once you confirm it through the link we email you (double opt-in).

For giveaways, we use your data to run the draw, contact the winners and send you our newsletter, which you agree to when entering. Winners may be asked for further details, such as a postal address, so we can send the prize.

Our newsletter is sent through Flodesk, Inc., based in the USA. We measure whether emails are opened and which links are clicked, so we can improve our content.

You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of every email, or by writing to studio@manuelamenzi.com.

Cookies and tracking

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies. Some are necessary for the website and shop to work. Others help us measure how the website is used or show you relevant ads, and we only use these if you agree in our cookie banner.

TWINT AG (TWINT payments), data stored in Switzerland
Swiss Post (shipping), data stored in Switzerland
Google Analytics (website analytics), data stored in Ireland and the USA
Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. (ads and Meta Pixel), data stored in Ireland and the USA

We may also share data with authorities where the law requires it.

Some of these providers store data outside Switzerland, mainly in the EU and the USA. The EU offers an adequate level of data protection under Swiss law. For the USA, we only use providers certified under the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, or we rely on standard contractual clauses approved by the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner.

How long we keep your data

We keep your data only as long as we need it for the purposes above:

Newsletter: until you unsubscribe
Giveaway entries: until the giveaway is completed, unless you stay subscribed to the newsletter
Orders and invoices: 10 years, as required by Swiss accounting law
Messages and enquiries: until your request is resolved, unless we need them longer for legal reasons

How we protect your data

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work only with reputable providers that protect your data.
